OUR STRATEGY
We aim to play a leading role in the Steel Industry as well. While we trade ourselves physically and also act as an intermediary and value-adding service provider. Our end-to-end services span every step in the metals and non-metals supply chain and comprise core competencies such as trade finance, procuring raw materials, metal and non-metals trading, distribution and stockholding. We have our own warehouses at strategic locations which provide state-of-the-art facilities to our clientele.
We will continue to build on our core business - international trading of steel and steel-making raw materials - and find innovative ways to add value as a service provider. There is still substantial scope for developing the international trading business. Geographically, we are continually extending our infrastructure, particularly in emerging and fast growing economies.
Our strategy for achieving this aim is to expand our participation at every step in the supply chain via organic as well as inorganic growth.
We are constantly evaluating various Greenfield and Brownfield opportunities.
We are targeting specific sectors such as FMCG, Power and utilities as well as transportation through in-house strategic workshops.
We are actively seeking opportunities to make new mining investments.
A key part of our strategy is to diversify both up and down the supply chain, geographically as well as business portfolio wise.
